XiangXiang at Splash Park at SSC

Daddy decided to visit the Splash Park at SCC on this lovely Sunday.. he has been talking about it but mummy is not keen as it's rather far from our home but after recommendation from Aunti Nana, mummy finally agreed.

Mummy and Daddy are pleasantly surprised that I no longer scared of water, this really shows that I have grown up.. haha.. I have enjoyed very much at the water area and the slides too..

Celebrating Daddy's birthday

Mummy has planned to celebrate Daddy's birthday this year together with XiangXiang, to have a nice dinner together since Daddy has training on 25 June so not able to take leave.

Unfortunately, XiangXiang fell sick a few days before, bacteria infection, with fever and cough so no choice will be confined at home..

But mummy decided to whip a meal (like real), actually just pasta and soup.. of cose not forgetting a yummilicious daddy's favorite chocolate cake that mummy has sneaked out to get.. haha..

I think Daddy really enjoyed the food and cake.. If not for yee yee and yee chang around, he'll likely to finish all the food.. (yeah, my daddy really eats a lot :P)

Did not manage to catch it in photo but XiangXiang cant wait to blow the candle. The moment when finish singing the English version of birthday song, he already blowed the candles, Daddy does not even has a chance to make a wish.. but seeing XX so eager and happy, that's most probably his biggest wish :P

XiangXiang is 2!!!

Time really flies that XX is turning two this year. Mummy decided to organise this year birthday at Polliwogs East Coast Playground where friends of XX are invited for a day of fun.

Mummy decided to organise on 24th April'10 at 11am to 1pm and have even invited tuo ku, tua kim, Melvin and Rayton, kuku, kim kim. Too bad Yee Yee and Yee chang cant join as Yee Yee just given birth to baby Javiar 2 days earlier!

Holiday at Gold Coast (Nov'09)

Mummy finally persuaded daddy to go to Gold Coast for a short break as A ma ma will be away for 2 weeks plus. What daddy worry most is the long flight of 7.5 hrs, scared that i'll be cranky :(

We set off from Singapore on 7 Nov at 3.30pm. During the flight, I was ok at the beginning, sleeping till I cried v badly after a bout 3 hrs of flight time. And there is no way to pacify me, mummy has no choice but to hide me in the toilet at the plane so as not to disturb the rest of the passengers. Suspecting i may have constipation, mummy checked and true enuf i was constipated that's why cry non-stop. After continous encouragement from mummy, I manage to release then able to sleep at the rest of the flight.. :P We reach Brisbane at the wee hours of a Sunday morning. After a very difficult check in at Hotel F1, we managed to catch some rest till the next day where daddy collected a rented car and off we go to Gold Coast! :P

To our horror when we arrived at Santana Resort at Gold Coast, mummy realised that all our 3 passports are missing. She knew immediately that it should not be stolen or misplaced as it cannot be the case all are missing so she asked Yee Yee to call the immigration at Brisbane to check if our passports are at the customs. True to mummy's guess that the custom officers have forgotten to return us the passports after the check on our luggage! (Of cose the customs deny it) but we could not care less as we've retrieved our passport at last. What a way to start our holiday :P

At Gold Coast, we visited Sea World then Movie World too, of course mummy's beloved hobby, shoping at outlets and also not forgetting the beach of Surfers Paradise..

XiangXiang knowing his body :P

XiangXiang at 16th Mth

XiangXiang vocabulary at 16th Mths has improved.. his milestones so far:

- able to say 'treeee', 'pressss', 'pillow', 'rubbish - bish'

- call yee yee, a kong, cer cer, daddy, ma ma but stil not able to call mummy :( but worse is calling mummy 'yee yee'. Mummy is very upset, all thanks to a ma for teaching XX that to associate long hair persons as yee yee :(

- know more of his body parts beside those basic ones, eg: stomach, toes, fingers, body, tongue and teeth :)

- he seems to understand instructions or when you talked to him eg: to throw rubbish or ask him for help to pass things around (our little helper) :P

- even know how to chose the show he wants to watch, most of the time will be WOTB over Barney, Sesame Street etc. (mummy and daddy is wondering how come I nv get tireds of WOTB.. hehee :P)

- he likes to say the word 'beat' or 'beep (from WOTB)'.. mummy and daddy is stil wondering.. when he fells down or he does not like certain stuff he'll say 'beat' with the actions of really beating either on the floor or even the person making him unhappy, really hillarius..
