At the Booster Seat

Finally taken the booster seat (Brand: Safety 1st) from a ma's place. Mummy has helped to secure to a chair, look how I've enjoyed myself..

Yummy Time

I am is 6th mth old already and mummy has started me on solid food. Look at the yummy food that mummy has prepared



Today's Lunch Menu: Frisocream cereal + apple puree




Today's Dinner Menu: HT Brown Rice + Carrot Puree

My satisfying look after meal.. heehee..

Apple Puree:
1. Peel, core and cut apple (Goldland Apple) into small pieces
2. Boil them in a pan with enough water to cover the apples
3. Blend the apple with tiny amount of water

Carrot Puree:
1. Peel carrot (organic) and cut into smaller pieces
2. Steam until tender -> do not boil as nutrients will be lost
3. Blend the steamed carrot

Davien is 6th Mth now!

Davien is 6th month today, how time flies. he was just a little baby and now he looks so much different from when he was born..


He now weights 7.5Kg and height is 68cm! a tall baby though not so bak bak la :P
Wat to do, he drinks really less (only abt 100 to 120ml) .. :(

Achievement so far:
At 1st Mth:
Ø Able to play with playcards (circle – only red, black and white)
From 2nd Mth:
Ø Can listen and focus
Ø Cranky at time
Ø Able to smile/ laugh and play
At 3rd Mth:
Ø Smile and can laugh out loud
Ø Cry loud for milk and will turn away if he does not want milk anymore
At 4th Mth:
Ø Can hold rattle for a while (10secs)
Ø Head able to hold @90deg but for a short while only
Ø Hand sucking using both hands
Ø Will cry for attention
Ø Has started to show interest in toys
Ø Able to focus and make more funny sound beside ‘coo’
Ø Manage to flip without help on 21st Aug then able to flip easily a few days after this date
At 5th Mth:
Ø Make more sounds
Ø Able to imitate sounds/ actions
Ø Like to see books/ moving things, show interest!
Ø Start showing him educational video like Baby Einstein DVD
Ø Especially like mascots in these videos
At 6th Mth:
Ø Able to sit up
Ø Drool a lot
Ø Start on having solid food
- Frisocream -> does not like at the start but adapt rather fast
- Like the cereal less liquid or more chewy
- Start with 1 teaspoon to 2 tablespoon daily
- All cereal for Davien has to be cooked though uncooked is ok for most ppl. Otherwise he’ll have diarrhea!

Look at our lovely XiangXiang, this photo was taken on Sept-28 for his Singapore passport application. He certainly looks fierce as we have been trying to take his pictures for the last hour.. hehe

Playtime with Jumperoo:O

Finally decided to get the jumperoo for XiangXiang to play, a big ticket lor, cost me $167 plus shipping charges from Amazon, still cheaper than sell in SG, UP$239..

Lucky Davien is excited and really like the jumperoo.. he was jumping so happily :P

Going Kai Kai..

Today, mummy is bringing me kai kai.. we'll be going to Aunt Heike house for her farewell gathering as she is going back to Germany after a year stint at mummy's workplace. Look I'm all ready to go :O

When reaching, Aunt Lily is the first one who wants to pose with me :P

Moving to new house when I'm 5 mth old

On the 11th Sep, our family moved to our home sweet home at Compassvale Link. This has been a long wait since it's bought at 2004. Though the flat was ready end Dec 2008, daddy and mummy decided to wait for my arrival before planning the renovation and moving..

Finally we have a house we can call 'Home' :O
