Davien at 10th Mth

A little update on my progress and achievements as I cross the 10th mth mark :P
Food menu:

• Start cereal with fruit puree (Healthy Times cereal + apples or pear)
• Menu: Morning – cereal with fruis
  Night – Porridge

Achievements:

• Able to sit up easily
• Show signs of teething like rub against the teeth more often
• Able to sit up from sleeping position
• Has 2 teeth (from end Dec)
• Start to crawl from late Dec then crawl very well and more & more curious about the surroundings
• Able to recognize Daddy and A ma (not mummy yet :()
• Able to stand up with help of bed, chair or people at 10th mth
• Make more funny sounds like mam mam, ma ma, dada, dadi

Mummy's Birthday

Today is Mummy's birthday.. Together we celebrate at YeeYee's place with Kuku, Suikim, a ma and kongkong.. I have lots of fun and Yeepoe has fed me the delicious bday cake that Kuku bought for mummy, yummy.. :O

CNY'09!!

This year CNY is especially special with the addition of Xiang Xiang into our family and also in our new place at Buangkok. We have spent lots of time decorating the place and preparation of XiangXiang for his first CNY :P

Very glad that he has enjoyed himself thoroughly during the CNY week, from 25Jan to 1Feb'09. Xiang Xiang also went back to Indo for the first time after he is borned. He liked the place very much, though he does not ppl to carry him, he enjoyed playing with a kong, a ma and all other relatives that come to my place. And oh boy, he got lots of ang pow during the second day when we visit relatives at Indo. He will grab when ang pow is offered and next will be into his mouth. hehe.. We all enjoyed a lot there.. though he has a few gifts back in the form of mosquito bite :P

My First X'mas..

It has been a while since this blog is updated, was to busy during this festive season, with X'mas and CNY so near each other.

A little update for our little XiangXiang's life... Sad to say that in Dec'08, XiangXiang was not well after our trio from Japan. He has persistent cough and pleghm that refused to go away. On top of that, he has fits a few times due to the choking pleghm. So much worries that he has to be hospitalised for observation for a day on 23Dec. Fortunately he was discharged on X'mas eve in time to celebrate his first X'Mas at home. We have tremendous support from friends and family which we're so glad off..

Porridge & Fruits

Xiang Xiang has started on porridge when he is about 6mth plus, menu so far was:

1. porridge with carrot

2. porridge with carrot and potato

3. porridge with pumpkin

4. porridge with sweet potatoe

5. porridge with carrot and firsh (threadfin or ngo her)

Cooking Porridge:

1. First cook the stock for porridge using either ikan bilis with woffberries and pork or pork rib

2. Double boil the porridge with the stock and ingreadients above.

3. For fish, add at last when the porridge is almost cook

4. Cooking time: 1 to 1.5 hr (longer for brown rice)

5. If use slow cooker, cooking time neary 3 hr

Fruits introduced so far:

1. apple (puree plus given direct)

2. pear (puree)

3. papaya (which really help constipation)

Enjoying the HT teether biscuits, v hard and yummy but supper messy! Mummy needs to clean me up after that.

High Tea at Lao Beijing

Today we've been to Lao Beijing for high tea buffet with YeeYee and YeeChan. It was v crowded, but YeeYee has made reservation so no need to wait too long. Think the food is real yummy as everyone was busy eating but nothing for me of cose.. hehe.. But I did enjoy myself with kakak :O
